Question 1

What is a beauty influencer campaign?

Accepted Answer

It is the strategic management of a beauty or personal care product through suitable content creators, encompassing target audience definition, true product narratives, creative direction, commercial disclosures, publication, usage rights, and measurement. It is not merely sending out products or buying a single video. A well-structured campaign documents which user questions the product answers, why the creator is a fit, the boundaries of their claims, and where the content will be utilized. Success is evaluated based on initial goals and accessible data.

Question 2

Which beauty content creators should we collaborate with?

Accepted Answer

You should work with individuals who have a genuine connection to your product subcategory, strong storytelling skills, high-quality visual production, appropriate audience context, clear past brand relationships, and a safe tone for claims. Follower count alone is not a selection criterion. Skin and hair characteristics, color preferences, routine approaches, and content values must align with the product's actual target audience. Each candidate's availability and commercial terms are verified separately; appearing on a list does not guarantee a partnership.

Question 3

Should we choose nano, micro, or macro influencers?

Accepted Answer

There is no single correct scale. The campaign's objective, the required depth of storytelling, audience diversity, budget, and operational capacity determine the choice. Creators of varying sizes can take on different roles within the same campaign. Since scale labels are used inconsistently in the market, it is safer to base proposals on actual account metrics and expected deliverables. Large accounts do not automatically mean high sales, just as small accounts do not automatically guarantee high trust.

Question 4

Is a post guaranteed in exchange for sending a product?

Accepted Answer

No. Unless there is a prior explicit publication agreement, gifting or PR packages do not guarantee a post or a positive review. The creator may choose not to use or share the product. If mandatory deliverables are expected, the content format, timeline, compensation or product exchange, commercial disclosures, revisions, and usage rights must be documented in advance. Even free products may require the disclosure of a commercial relationship.

Question 5

Does the campaign guarantee sales?

Accepted Answer

No. Alongside content quality, sales behavior is influenced by price, stock, offers, brand awareness, competition, site experience, delivery, and measurement infrastructure. MyFenomen does not guarantee specific sales, reach, or engagement results. The controllable elements are accurate targeting, the right creator, clear messaging, solid operations, and sourced reporting. If the goal is sales, landing pages, codes, links, and stock must be tested prior to launch.

Question 6

To what extent can the creator's experience be directed?

Accepted Answer

Product accuracy, usage instructions, mandatory disclosures, claims to avoid, and delivery formats can be directed; personal opinions cannot be fabricated. A brief establishes a safe narrative framework rather than imposing a positive outcome scenario. If the creator dislikes the product or reports adverse effects, publication, returns, and compensation terms are handled according to the contract. Writing fake praise to salvage an experience is not an acceptable revision.

Question 7

Can we approve the content before it is published?

Accepted Answer

Yes; a draft review process can be established within the proposal. Brand control should focus on product truth, necessary disclosures, visual safety, and the written brief; it should not turn the creator's voice into a corporate ad script. The number of revision rounds, response times, and conditions for reshoots are defined upfront. If captions, links, or covers change after the approved version, those specific elements must be reviewed again.

Question 8

Can we use the creator's content in our ads?

Accepted Answer

Only if the necessary permissions and platform authorizations have been secured. Organic sharing does not automatically grant the brand unlimited reuse rights or the right to run paid ads. For partnership ads or other advertising uses, account permissions, platforms, durations, regions, editing rights, media budgets, and reporting are negotiated separately. The suitability of music and third-party rights for advertising use is also verified.

Question 9

How long does it take to prepare a beauty campaign?

Accepted Answer

The timeline depends on brief readiness, the number of candidates, product shipment, testing requirements, shoot complexity, revisions, legal review, and the publication window. It is inaccurate to provide a fixed number of days without seeing these inputs. Once a target date is shared, the schedule for product delivery, a realistic testing period, and the brand approval process are planned backward. Launch confidentiality or multi-variant shipments can also affect the timeline.

Question 10

Can we use before and after visuals?

Accepted Answer

They can be evaluated carefully if the product, claim, and evidence conditions are met; it is not an automatically safe format. Lighting, angles, focus, makeup, expressions, filters, and digital editing can mislead comparisons. Duration and usage methods must be clearly stated, and a personal result should not be presented as a guarantee for everyone. The brand's compliance or legal team must review the specific content and supporting evidence before publication.

Question 11

Are filters and retouching allowed?

Accepted Answer

Filters and retouching that substantially alter the product's color, texture, skin appearance, or results should not be used. Even minor aesthetic adjustments can be misleading if they affect the claimed feature. Lighting, camera settings, and editing limits are specified in the shooting brief. Even if a platform filter is visible, it does not absolve the responsibility of accurately depicting the product's results.

Question 12

Can influencers make health claims about a product?

Accepted Answer

Creators must not make health or treatment claims that are unverified by the brand or exceed the product's regulatory classification. Personal experience is not scientific evidence or medical advice. Allowable statements are determined by the product owner and the authorized compliance team. Expressions implying disease names, treatments, cures, or definitive physiological results are heavily scrutinized; expert legal opinions are sought when necessary.

Question 13

Where should the ad or partnership disclosure be placed?

Accepted Answer

The disclosure must be noticeable at first glance, readable, and in a location that clearly indicates the commercial nature of the content. For short-lived content like stories, it must remain visible for the duration of the post. Expressions suitable for the platform per the Turkish Advertising Board guidelines and the platform's paid partnership tools are evaluated together. Hiding the disclosure among a long list of tags or relying on vague abbreviations is inappropriate.

Question 14

Is a disclosure required for gifted products?

Accepted Answer

Yes, promotions made in exchange for a benefit, such as free or discounted products or services, may require the disclosure of a commercial relationship. Meta also requires a paid partnership label on branded content featuring free or loaned products. The fact that a shipment has a PR purpose does not render the disclosure unimportant. The specific relationship and applicable rules are checked before publication.

Question 15

Can we restrict them from working with competing brands?

Accepted Answer

Parties can agree on reasonable and clear exclusivity terms. Instead of overly broad phrases like 'all beauty brands,' specific competitor definitions, product subcategories, regions, and date ranges are documented. Since restrictions impact a creator's other business opportunities, they are evaluated separately in the budget. The creator's past contracts must also be reviewed before finalizing candidates.

Question 16

Are livestreams suitable for beauty campaigns?

Accepted Answer

They can be suitable for application demonstrations and real-time Q&A; however, they require moderation and information boundaries. The host must know which questions they cannot answer and when to repeat commercial disclosures. If the broadcast recording will be used later, permissions and licensing are documented separately. Personalized health advice is not given in the comments; if misinformation occurs, visible corrections are planned.

Question 17

How many influencers should be in a campaign?

Accepted Answer

There is no universal number. Target audience diversity, creative hypotheses, product variants, budget, and the team's capacity for product dispatch and approvals are all considered together. Rather than using identical scripts across numerous irrelevant accounts, it is often more effective to build a manageable scope with creators who have defined roles. Definitive recommendations are provided once the brief and candidate conditions are reviewed.

Question 18

What data is included in the reporting?

Accepted Answer

Depending on scope and access, publication links, platform insights, view and engagement metrics, profile or link activities, ad data, code usage, and appropriate e-commerce events can be addressed. The source, definition, and period for each metric are specified. Data that cannot be accessed is not presented as if it were; differences in publication times and attribution limits are noted. Qualitative commentary and recurring product questions can also inform future content decisions.

Question 19

What information is needed for a campaign proposal?

Accepted Answer

Brand and product definitions, subcategories, target users, primary objectives, planned periods, deliverable expectations, allowable claims, visual boundaries, usage rights, advertising needs, approximate budget frameworks, and measurement expectations are a strong starting point. If the product is not yet on the market, confidentiality, sample status, stock, and launch dates are also shared. Missing points are completed during discovery; exact creator and pricing details are not promised before validating candidate conditions.
