Data security concept on computer screen
Your data on our platform is protected and processed in accordance with standards.

IN BRIEF

No browser cookie or tracking tag placed by MyFenomen was found on the audited pages.

The home page, influencer application page, and contact page were examined with a real browser. No cookie, localStorage, or sessionStorage record was observed. The Google Maps embed on the contact page sends external requests to Google domains; this technical transfer is explained separately.

What is a cookie and how does it work?

Cookies are small text records that a website can store on a device through a browser. They can be used for purposes such as maintaining sessions, remembering preferences, security, or measurement. The fact that a technology is widespread does not mean it is actually used on this site.

How cookies work

  • Identification: Some cookies may carry a value that distinguishes the browser or session; depending on the context, it may qualify as personal data.
  • Memory: A site can keep information like language or session preferences in a cookie; no such record was observed under MyFenomen's audit.
  • Temporary and permanent: Some cookies are deleted when you close the browser, while others continue to stay on your device for a certain period.

Why do we use cookies?

The audited pages of the current MyFenomen Astro site operate without first-party browser cookies. Therefore, the cards below do not represent current usage claims but explain the boundaries of the legal classification if a technology is added in the future.

CURRENT STATUS

No first-party cookies

No HTTP Set-Cookie header or first-party cookie created by JavaScript was detected on the home page, influencer application, and contact page.

CURRENT STATUS

No tracking tags

Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, or Microsoft Clarity were not loaded in the examined source and network requests.

EXTERNAL CONTENT

Google Maps

The embedded map on the contact page sends requests to Google Maps, Google APIs, and Google Static domains upon loading. No cookie was created during the audit session.

Types of cookies according to their purpose of use

The distinction below explains the categories that can be used in accordance with the KVKK Board's Guide on Cookie Applications. No active MyFenomen cookie was detected in these categories in the current inventory.

Strictly Necessary Cookies

These are cookies that are strictly necessary to carry out electronic communication or to provide a service explicitly requested by the user. Not every "mandatory" label creates an automatic exemption; necessity is evaluated in terms of concrete function.

Functional Cookies (Preference Cookies)

Can remember user choices such as language or appearance. If not strictly necessary for an explicitly requested function, an appropriate legal basis and, when required, prior explicit consent is needed.

Performance and Analytics Cookies

Can measure visit behavior. The statement "Anonymous" is not automatically considered true; the identifier used, scope, and provider are examined. No tracking tag was detected on the current site.

Advertising and Marketing Cookies

These are cookies intended for profiling or targeted advertising. They require prior explicit consent given freely and on a specific subject. No advertising or targeting tag was detected on the current site.

Why isn't there a consent banner today?

Since there are no analytics, advertising, or preference cookies requiring consent in the audited version, we do not present a preference panel that does not actually exist. If such a technology is added to the site in the future, the technology will not be run without consent, and the accept, reject, and detailed preference options will be presented equally.

The policy will be updated when the technical inventory changes. The user must be able to withdraw consent as easily as they accepted a consent-based cookie.

Cookies by retention period and source

How long cookies stay on your device and who placed them is another factor determining their impact.

Session Cookies Remain active only during your visit to the site. They are deleted from your device as soon as you close the browser. Used for temporary memory management.
Persistent Cookies Remain on your device until a predetermined time. They allow the site to recognize you on your next visit (e.g., the "Remember Me" option).
First-Party Cookies placed on your device directly by MyFenomen. They are created for basic functions and internal analytics.
Third-Party Placed by external services used on the site (e.g., video player, analytics tools). The data is also transmitted to the relevant service provider outside of MyFenomen.

Cookies used on our site

In accordance with our transparency principle, we share the list, provider, and retention periods of the current cookies used on our platform below.

How to manage cookies through the browser?

There is no cookie preference tool on the current site because no cookie requiring consent was seen in the audit. However, you can still view, delete existing records for all sites, or restrict third-party cookies through your browser.

Each browser's cookie management steps are different. By reviewing official support pages, you can learn how to completely block third-party cookies, delete cookies upon every site exit, or define specific exceptions.

  • Google Chrome: You can manage third-party cookies or clear your browsing data from the Privacy and security tab. Chrome guide ↗
